  • Tom W. Smith of the National Opinion Research center, University of Chicago, published a report titled the "Public Opinion on Gun Control." Published in December, 2003 surveys the public opinion of gun control at that time. Though currently several years old, the mindset has not different by much over the last decade. Read for yourself and see what you think.



  • The Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence published a powerpoint presentation online in April. The presentation supposedly presents findings from a National Survey taken of 600 registered voters that shows a majority of voters "oppose oepn carry laws and they believe that such laws make them less safe." The survey was conducted from April 26-28, 2010 and the data was slightly weighted by race and age. The results are reportedly within a margin of error +/= 4.0%. Lake Research Partners conducted the interviews.
